Priority Pass Lounges at Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO)

As of 2024, Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO) has 4 Priority Pass lounges, including restaurants, in Terminal 1's international departure area, and 3 more in the general area accessible to domestic flight passengers as well.

Priority Pass is accepted at a wide range of facilities, from Korean Air's KAL Lounge to the restaurants Kaizen Kuzen and Bodedyu, and even Kutsurogi-dokoro, an observation bath where you can relax while watching planes.

Here we introduce the location, directions, and opening hours of each Priority Pass lounge at Chubu Centrair International Airport.

• Priority Pass can be used at 4 lounges in Terminal 1's international departure area, plus 3 lounges in the general area open to both domestic and international passengers!

• Terminal 2 at Chubu Centrair International Airport has no lounges at all!

There are three Priority Pass lounges in Centrair's Terminal 1 international departure area. Since all are located past security in the departure area, they can only be used by passengers flying out on an international flight from Terminal 1.

• Korean Air KAL Lounge

Korean Air's KAL Lounge is located in Terminal 1's international departure area.

Although seating is limited, this lounge sees few visitors and has a wonderfully quiet atmosphere. Whenever I fly internationally out of Chubu Centrair International Airport, I always use the KAL Lounge.

Light snacks such as bread and onigiri (rice balls) are available, and alcoholic drinks are free as well. It's also close to the boarding gate, so you can relax right up until boarding time! It's my absolute favorite lounge.

• Opening hours: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM

• Closed: Never (open year-round)

• Guest policy: Up to 2 guests may accompany each cardholder

• Guest fee: Determined by your credit card's terms

• Children's policy: Free entry for children under 2

This lounge is located in Terminal 1's international departure area. Take the elevator near Gate 19 down to the 2nd floor, and you'll see the signage.

This lounge doubles as the airline lounge for China Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Tianjin Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and Philippine Airlines. As a result, the Global Lounge has a more luxurious interior and better food than other lounges!

On the downside, it's often crowded, but it's a great choice for anyone who wants a proper meal.

Plaza Premium Lounge is well known for the quality of its lounges, and this is its first location in Japan. It's located in the restricted area of Terminal 1's international wing, near Gate 18, in the international departure area beyond security screening.

• Hours: 7:00 AM–8:00 PM (until 10:30 PM on Mondays and Fridays)

• Guest policy: Unknown (not announced on the official Priority Pass website)

• Guest fee: Based on the credit card linked to your Priority Pass

• Children: Free entry for children under 2

• Other: Entry may be restricted depending on lounge congestion

It's located on the 3rd floor of Terminal 1's international departure area, near boarding gate 19. As it's beyond the security checkpoint, only international flight passengers can use it.

Its standout feature is a wide range of set-meal (gozen) menus, from seafood dishes to steak and eel (unagi). Light meal options are also available. It's a restaurant well worth recommending to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine.

Priority Pass holders get a free set menu worth 3,400 yen, as designated by the restaurant. Naturally, guests receive the same benefit.

• Guest fee: Based on the credit card linked to your Priority Pass

Next, we'll introduce lounges where you can use your Priority Pass in the general area, before immigration and security screening. These facilities can be used by both domestic and international flight passengers.

At Japanese airports, a Priority Pass can also be used to access spa facilities. Of course, you can also use it just for dining — as soon as you enter the building, you'll find yourself in the restaurant area.

It's located on the 4th floor of Terminal 1 at Centrair (Chubu Centrair International Airport). From the 3rd-floor departure lobby, head toward the back and take the escalator up to Sky Town on the 4th floor. Once up, walk along the shopping arcade booths on the right and you'll spot it. This is a general (pre-security) area, so it can be used regardless of whether you're flying domestic or international, and it's available not only before departure but also on arrival.

Priority Pass holders receive a discount equivalent to 3,400 yen (tax included) off their final bill.

The facility's "SOLA SPA Kaze no Yu" is Japan's first observation bath with a view of airplanes. It was renovated in 2023 with an expanded sauna section, making it a great option for travelers in Japan too.

• Hours: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Botejyu, located in the restaurant area on the 4th floor of Terminal 1, accepts Priority Pass. The benefit includes a stay of up to 2 hours and a free set menu worth 3,400 yen.

Since this is a general area before security, it can be used for both departing and arriving flights. I used it after returning from an international flight, and enjoying Japanese food after so long really eased my travel fatigue.

In addition to Priority Pass, the restaurant also accepts Lounge Key and Diners Club, but the rules are fairly strict — for example, companions may not be registered and food/drink sharing with companions isn't allowed — so it's best to check the details in advance.

The Pike Brewing Restaurant & Craft Beer Bar is a craft beer maker founded in Seattle, USA, in 1989. Here you can enjoy authentic IPA beer paired with American cuisine.

It's located on the 3rd floor of "FLIGHT OF DREAMS," the complex situated between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. As a general area before security, it's available for both domestic and international flights, including on arrival.

By presenting your Priority Pass, you can get a ¥3,400 (tax included) discount off your restaurant bill. Up to 2 companions can be registered.

We recommend using it on arrival rather than departure!

• Hours: 11:00 AM–6:30 PM (open daily)

• Companion eligibility: Up to 3 companions can be registered per cardholder

• Companion fees: Determined by the credit card linked to your Priority Pass

Centrair has Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, but Terminal 2 has no airline lounges or credit card lounges.

If you're departing from Terminal 2, we recommend heading over to Terminal 1, or visiting "The Pike Brewing Restaurant & Craft Beer Bar" at FLIGHT OF DREAMS near Terminal 2.

Also note that it takes about a 10-minute walk to get between Terminal 2 and Terminal 1. Terminal 1 has a sign saying "Terminal 2 is just a 5-minute walk from here!" but in practice, even walking on the moving walkways, it took a good 10 minutes.

As shown in the photo below, you'll walk along the corridor connecting Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. I visited on a December night, so it was a bit chilly.
