Priority Pass Lounges at Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO)

As of 2024, Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO) offers many lounges and restaurants where you can use your the Priority Pass. There are 4 lounges and restaurants located in the International Departure area of Terminal 1 and 3 lounges and restaurants available in the public area which is accessible to both domestic and international travellers.
The Priority Pass holders can enjoy unique dining experiences, such as the traditional Japanese cuisine at Umizen Sorazen and the opportunity to relax in a bath with an airport view at Kutsurogi-Dokoro.

Lounges in the International Departure Area
If you’re flying internationally from Terminal 1, there are three lounges that accept the Priority Pass. These lounges are all located after security, so they are only available to international passengers departing from this terminal.

Korean Air KAL Lounge
Located in the International Departure Area of Terminal 1, the KAL Lounge offers a calm and serene atmosphere. Though it’s smaller in size, it is rarely crowded, making it a quiet space to unwind before your flight. Light snacks such as bread and rice balls are available, and alcohol is served free of charge. The lounge is conveniently located close to the boarding gates, allowing you to relax right up until it’s time to board. This is my personal favourite lounge at the airport, and I use it every time when I fly internationally from this airport.
• Operating Hours: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Closed on: Open daily, no holidays
• Guest Policy: 2 guests per cardholder (guest fees depend on the credit card policy)
• Children: Free admission for children under 2 years old
Centrair Global Lounge
This lounge is located near Gate 19 and is shared by multiple airlines including China Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Tianjin Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and Philippine Airlines. The lounge is known for its luxurious interior and high-quality food offerings. If you’re looking for a more substantial meal in a sophisticated setting, this lounge is highly recommended.
• Operating Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:45 PM (subject to change based on flight schedules)
• Guest Policy: 1 guest per cardholder (guest fees depend on the credit card policy)

Plaza Premium Lounge Nagoya
Known for its top-notch service, the Plaza Premium Lounge has made its debut in Japan at the Chubu International Airport. Located near Gate 18 in the restricted International Departure Area, this lounge offers a quiet and comfortable environment with a wide range of services.
• Operating Hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM (open until 10:30 PM on Mondays and Fridays)

Umizen Sorazen
Located on the 3rd floor of Terminal 1 in the International Departure Area, near Gate 19, Umizen Sorazen can only be accessed by international passengers, as it is situated after the security checkpoint.
This restaurant offers a wide range of Japanese set meals featuring dishes such as seafood, steak, and eel, along with lighter snack options. It’s an excellent spot for those looking to enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine before their flight.
Priority Pass holders can enjoy a set menu valued at JPY 3,400 free of charge, and this benefit extends to accompanying guests as well.

Lounges in the Public Area for Both Domestic and International Passengers
In addition to the international lounges, Priority Pass can also be used in the public area of Terminal 1, accessible to both domestic and international travelers. These lounges are available before you go through security, so you can use them whether you’re departing or arriving.
Kutsurogi-Dokoro
This unique facility allows Priority Pass holders to access a relaxing spa, a rare feature in Japanese airports. Upon entering, you’ll find a restaurant area where you can enjoy a meal before heading to the spa. Located on the 4th floor of Terminal 1, Kutsurogi-Dokoro features “SOLA SPA Kaze no Yu,” Japan’s first airport bathhouse with a view of airplanes. The spa was renovated in 2023, with expanded sauna facilities, making it an excellent spot for travellers looking to unwind, whether you’re arriving or departing.

• Access: Located on the 4th floor of Terminal 1
Botejyu
Botejyu is a Japanese restaurant offering classic dishes such as okonomiyaki (savoury pancakes) and takoyaki (octopus balls). Priority Pass holders can enjoy a set menu worth JPY3,400 for free. This restaurant is located in the general area on the 4th floor, making it accessible to both departing and arriving passengers. I personally enjoy stopping by here after a long trip for a delicious Japanese meal to wrap up my journey.

The Pike Brewing Restaurant & Craft Beer Bar
Founded in Seattle in 1989, The Pike Brewing Company is known for its craft beers, particularly IPA. Here at the Chubu International Airport, you can enjoy their authentic American craft beer paired with classic American dishes. The Priority Pass holders receive a JPY3,400 discount off their bill. This spot is located in the Flight of Dreams complex between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and it’s accessible to both domestic and international passengers, making it a great option for arrival meals as well.

No Lounge in Terminal 2
While the Chubu International Airport(NGO) has two terminals, there are no lounges available in Terminal 2. If you’re departing from or arriving at Terminal 2, your best option is to head over to Terminal 1 or visit The Pike Brewing Restaurant & Craft Beer Bar located in the Flight of Dreams. The two terminals are connected by a walkway, and it takes approximately 10 minutes on foot. Be mindful that while there are signs indicating it’s a 5-minute walk, the reality is closer to 10 minutes, even if you’re walking fast.
