At Moon and Sun BASE ATAMI, we have placed an open-air bath and a cold water bath side by side on the terrace. In addition to the indoor hot spring, you can enjoy moving between the hot spring and cold water bath while experiencing the outdoor scenery. While we introduce the detailed temperature control and aroma enjoyment of the sauna in a separate article, the air that touches your skin outdoors and the expansive view of Atami are luxuries unique to this building.
At Tsuki to Taiyou HANABI, we have a terrace with an ocean view featuring a jacuzzi. The indoor bath is an onsen (hot spring), and the terrace jacuzzi can be used with either hot water or cold, allowing you to relax in the water both inside and outside. Our spacious terrace offers a variety of activities, such as open-air bathing and barbecues, creating a comfortable distance for families and small groups during their stay.

Our special facility at Moon and Sun BASE ATAMI is the outdoor infinity pool with an ocean view. It offers a sense of openness as the sea extends beyond the water's surface, allowing for various uses such as a cold plunge after the sauna or simply floating around. Located in a nature-rich villa area, we also recommend taking the time to quietly enjoy the scenery by the poolside while feeling the presence of the trees. Please note that there are steps in the pool, and diving is prohibited. We ask that you keep an eye on your children and ensure pets do not enter the pool.

At Moon and Sun BASE ATAMI, you can enjoy a special moment watching the lights spread across the night sky while being by the outdoor water. You can also enjoy the fireworks festival from a distance at Moon and Sun HANABI. Here, the enjoyment of fireworks refers to the pleasure of “watching” the Atami fireworks. For safety, the use of fire, such as fireworks, candles, and bonfires, is prohibited on the premises, terrace, and garden, so please follow the rules and enjoy the Atami night and fireworks viewing.
