The dining experience at our vacation rental "Moon and Sun" in Atami is appealing because you can choose according to your travel plans. Options include self-catering with your own ingredients in the kitchen, barbecuing on our BBQ grill, a plan with sets from Meat Grill D-29, a breakfast-inclusive plan, and even a private chef service. The sound of opening shopping bags, the aroma of grilled meat, and the bread and salad on the breakfast table—being a whole rental makes meal times the center of your journey.

We offer a room-only plan for those who want to bring their own ingredients and enjoy cooking. You can purchase ingredients or bento at nearby supermarkets and restaurants, then prepare your meals in the kitchen of our rental villa. Prepare rice in a rice cooker, finish a dish in a frying pan, and set the table. Instead of aligning meal times with dining out, you can enjoy meals between your onsen (hot spring) and sauna sessions, creating a homely atmosphere for family trips or group stays.

In each building, we provide a microwave, rice cooker, toaster, hot plate, BBQ grill, electric kettle, frying pan, pot, knives, and tableware (plates, cups, cutlery). Basic tasks like grilling, warming, cooking, and serving can all be done within our vacation rental, allowing for dinner BBQs and light breakfasts with your own ingredients the next morning. At BASE ATAMI and EN ATAMI, you can also use a wine cellar to prepare your drinks to match your meal flow.

We only provide salt, pepper, soy sauce, and olive oil as seasonings. If you have favorite sauces, spices, or dressings, please bring them along with your ingredients. Also, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets on the premises, so we recommend completing your shopping for food and drinks before you arrive. For BBQ, please use the BBQ grill provided by our facility, and refrain from bringing or using charcoal or firewood. Since there are residents in the area, we ask that you avoid terrace BBQs after 8 PM.

For those who want to leave the ingredient selection to us, our BBQ set from "Yakiniku TOKYO Hyakumeiten" selected by Tabelog, "Tokyo Meat Market Direct Delivery Meat Yakiya D-29," is convenient. The standard BBQ set plan includes a set without frozen items or vegetables, adjusted according to the number of guests. From new reservations starting October 2, 2025, it will be changed to include one set per person for a one-night stay. Additional standard BBQ sets (frozen) can also be ordered as an option from the reservation information input screen.

The D-29 Standard BBQ Set (frozen) offers about 400g of meat per person. For example, a set for two includes 120g of black-haired Wagyu hamburger ×1, 150g of fresh bacon sausage ×1, 150g of miso-marinated offal ×1, 100g of marinated short rib BBQ mix ×2, approximately 200g (180-220g) of black-haired Wagyu steak ×1, 200g of curry ×1, and 200g of special all-purpose J sauce ×1. The cuts and contents may vary depending on supply conditions, and vegetables are not included in the set. We only provide meals for those in elementary school and above; there are no meals for infants. In the case of an odd number of guests, we will prepare sets for the next higher even number.

For those who desire higher quality meat and vegetables, you can choose the room-only plan and order a premium BBQ set from the D-29 shop. The premium BBQ set comes with refrigerated vegetables and keeps freshness with vacuum packaging. Orders must be placed at least four days before your stay, and delivery to the vacation rental is free. Please pick up both the standard and premium sets from the refrigerator on the check-in day. There are periods, including around the New Year, when we cannot accept deliveries, so it's best to confirm early once your itinerary is set.

For those who want to relax from the morning, we offer a breakfast plan that includes a breakfast set with bread, salad, and soup. No special cooking is required, making it perfect for the morning after enjoying a BBQ the night before. The breakfast set is available only for elementary school students and older, and we do not provide it for infants. The contents may change depending on supply conditions, and we will prepare it in advance in your room's refrigerator. You can also choose the "Breakfast & BBQ Set Plan," which includes a standard BBQ set for dinner and a breakfast set for the following morning.

For special anniversaries or parties, please consider our catering chef service in partnership with Crowd Chef. This service allows you to invite a professional chef to your vacation rental to enjoy authentic course meals, perfect for those seeking a higher-level dining experience.
